Time...

It is 10 o'clock in the morning.  My boys are at school and my daughter is next door having a playdate.  I have time to myself?!?  It feels very funny.  Not even sure what to do with myself.  So I checked my facebook like I always do, checked in on a few new blog postings, and now what...I guess I could post something on my own blog.

So here I am...  Just writing.

No real news to update you on.

Except I have been not sewing, but rather doing lots of digital scrapbooking.  Yay!

In 2010, I decided that I was so far behind on my photos that I would start my yearly family albums in digital.  So I opened my Storybook Creator (an amazing CM product by the way!) and started my album.  Kept pretty up to date with it until July.  And then forget...I feel way behind.  It is now 2012 and 92 pages later, my book for 2010 is almost complete.  I have been making my last touches to the embellishments and journaling for a little over a week now.   I really am liking the way it is turning out.  My kids are going to flip over 92 pages when it arrives.

Hmmm...let's see what else have I been up too?

Oh I tried a new egg salad recipe.  I am not usually a fan of it but this recipe had been calling my name for sometime now.  I found it in a book I bought at one of my son's book fairs at school...taste of home kid approved cookbook.  It was fabulous!  So fabulous I took a picture to share it with you all.  Hehe.

Don't you just love the fabulous easter tablecloth I have?

The wind is whipping today.  Mother Nature has decided that last weeks beautiful weather in the 80's was just a tease.  It is back to normal March weather and temperatures around here.  My kids left the house this morning in winter coats, hats and gloves.  It is hard to believe that we were at the beach last week.  It was a beautiful day...my husband was home from work for a change and so we pick up my oldest and suprised the kids with a drive.

For the whole 45 minutes...we heard "where are you taking us" and when we finally got there, they said "why are we at the beach?" Oh well, some things never change.  They did have a blast at the playground and walking on the beach though.  And so did I.
