How does time get away from me so quickly? I haven't posted in forever, and I can't keep up with the blogs I follow. I think I have over 400 posts to read. No clue when I am going to find the time to do that.
Like most of us, I have had a crazy summer. And it is about to get crazier, once football starts for my boys.
I did manage to make this
It is a horrible picture and all I have for now. I will tell you more about it later, but it is for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. I sent out squares to family around the country and had them write a message to them and send it back to me. I had two empty squares and added the appliqued 5 and 0 (that was the hubby's idea - pretty cool, huh)
We had a surprise party for them in June (even though the actual day isn't till later this month), and managed to pull it off without them figuring it out. I was unable to finish the quilt in time so they got the top and gave it back to me to finish. And no, I have not finished it yet. I am horrible.

Some of that is from Happy Go Lucky. Love. Love. Love this line of fabrics.
I also started a dress for myself. But got stuck when I realized that the fabric I chose was going to need lining. Ugh...Pattern doesn't call for lining. Going to have to figure it out myself. NEVER done that before.
Yes, that is as far as I got. I think after this and another that is similar, I may stick with quilts. Is it crazy that they seem easier to me?
